Potato chips IN the cookies.  These are a family favorite that combine the best of both worlds. Sweet and salty come together in perfect harmony in these delicious little treats. I have gotten many a sideways glance when I have mentioned this cookie, but I can guarantee, if you give it a try, you’ll never look back. These are simple to make, and are a staple in our holiday cookie baking tradition.  In the spirit of giving, I thought I’d share with the masses.  You’re welcome, people!

Here’s what you’ll need:
1 Cup packed brown sugar
1 Cup granulated sugar
1 Cup softened butter
2 eggs
2 1/2  Cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 bag butterscotch chips
2 ½ Cups crushed plain potato chips

Here’s how you do it:
Preheat oven to 350
C
ream together sugars and butter

Beat in eggs
Add flour and baking soda
Fold in butterscotch chips and potato chips
Drop by spoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet
Bake for 8-10 minutes
Enjoy!
