Grand Design is one manufacturer that all of our Paul Evert’s RV Country locations are proud to carry. If you have done some RV shopping or research, you have likely marveled at these beautifully constructed, quality Fifth Wheels. The Grand Design brand was born out of the dreams of three men. Close friends Don Clark, and brothers Ron and Bill Fenech were a part of the ownership team that led Keystone RV Company to be the largest travel trailer and fifth wheel company in the world. They found that as the company grew, it became difficult to stay in touch with the needs of their customers, employees and ultimately the products that they built. That is why they left in 2011 to pursue their dream and reconnect on a personal level with their customers and dealers. The result of their new venture is Grand Design RV Company. Grand Design RV Company has over 400,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities located on 67 acres in the rural community of Middlebury, Indiana. The workforce they draw from has a reputation for quality craftsmanship that is second to none. According to their quality statement on their website, “A large portion of our workforce are Amish craftsmen. Some methods of modern production cannot be improved by mere technology, and our skilled production team shares that sentiment. They hold fast to the old adage that “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right”! The moment you step into a Grand Design unit – you’ll understand what we mean.
