Cheesy Bacon Pull Aparts ~ A Delicious Recipe to Make at Camp

rv recipe cheesy bread blogHey RV’ers! Looking for a tasty roll to accompany dinner? If you love bread, cheese, and bacon (because really, who doesn’t?) then we’ve got an easy and super delicious recipe for you! Heck, it could even BE dinner! We’re talking about Dutch Oven Bacon Cheese Pull Aparts. We have borrowed this tasty recipe from our compadres over at gorving.com. This recipe can be baked in the kitchen oven, or cooked over a camp fire in your Dutch Oven, and it’s so easy.

Here’s what you’ll need:

14 yeast dinner rolls – thawed but still cold. (Rhodes is a great brand and is inexpensive)

2 Cups grated cheddar cheese

8 strips cooked bacon crumbled up into small pieces

¼ Cup melted butter

Here’s how you do it:

Cut each roll in half. Pour butter into a 12-inch Dutch Oven. Toss the cut rolls in butter until coated and arrange in Dutch Oven. Sprinkle liberally with cheese and bacon. Cover with lid and let rise until double.  Bake at 350 degrees 20-25 minutes, or cook over the campfire until golden brown and cheese has melted.

Enjoy!

…And don’t forget the napkins!
