We all know it’s about the journey, not the destination, so of course we’re always looking for ways to help keep the journey fun and interesting. There’s just so much to see and do out there, but you may miss it without even realizing it as you’re out on the road making your way to “Point B”. It’s not just the “Worlds largest pig hairball” type of attractions, (though you can find that in Mt. Angel, Oregon if you’re so inclined) , but they also offer links to local museums, parks, and just your general must-see’s in every state. You can easily search by the city, state, or attraction you’re interested in. The website also has a “My Sights” route planner that helps you plan your stops, print your route, track where you’ve been, and leave tips for other travelers. These roadside oddities and attractions are a bit of Americana that will likely go by the wayside and become a thing of the past all too soon.
