RVing is wonderful! It brings the family together, you get to see new things, and it’s a great way to get away. But if there is one thing we hear from families it’s that they could always use more storage. Whether you’re a couple, have a few kids, or are just starting out, these tips are sure to help you make the most out of your RV’s space.
1) Follow the one in, one out rule | This rule dictates that when you bring something in to your RV, something needs to go out. This ensures that you aren’t keeping stuff that is useless and crowds your space. This rule will help to ensure anything you organize is something you need.
2) Use a freestanding storage drawer unit in your cabinets | Secure with a bungee cord and use a freestanding storage drawer unit to keep your spices organized and in place. This also works in closets and for bathroom storage.
3) Use storage bins in shelving | Storage bins will allow you to maximize your shelf space because they provide you with vertical storage and keep everything together.
4) Buy collapsible kitchen ware | From collapsible tea kettles to collapsible pans, these items allow you to maximize your kitchen storage space and they’re easy to transport so you don’t have to worry about them banging around. If you can’t find collapsible items look for nesting items – like nesting bowls. These store in each other and take up less space than buying individual bowls.
