Are you looking for a fun place to hop in the RV and head to with the family to spend the Fourth of July this year? We’ve got ya covered… Just four hours out of Fresno, in the city of Newport Beach, there is a big ol’ party going on! Newport Dunes Resort is a 110 acre resort located in Newport Beach, Orange County California at the entrance to the Back Bay Nature Preserve and the Newport Bay Conservancy. It’s home to the premier RV Park and Marina in Southern California. Guests enjoy the mile of beachfront with a waterpark, swimming and a playground on the beach for the kids. You can rent a sailboat, pedal boat or electric boat. Launch your boat from the convenient launch ramp to the Newport Harbor. Tour the Back Bay by kayak or by land in a covered Surrey. The Dunes also offers family entertainment and activities, as well as fine dining at the Back Bay Bistro restaurant. The RV park features 382 RV sites, with lush grounds and immaculate facilities. The fourth of July celebration will take place Thursday July 4th from noon to 10pm, and will feature such fun as Carnival Games, Moe B’s Watersports and Aquatic Park, temporary tattoos, face painter, craft stations, balloon sculptor & a variety of snack and treat vendors. Kids Corral for smaller kids: Bouncehouse & inflatables, ship ride, Rat Race attractions and four different musical acts throughout the day. It will end with the Fireworks Spectacular at dark. Then, on Saturday, July 6th, the party continues with Rock’n 80’s at the Dunes. This rockin’ party features Southern California’s hottest DJ, Richard Blade, and a host of musicians that will keep you dancing til bedtime. Musical acts include a Journey tribute band, an all female rock and roll band called Cougrzz, as well as Fusion Beat, Orange County’s youngest cover band playing the 80’s music their parents love. There will also be plenty to do for the kiddos, with carnival rides, a rock climbing wall, a giant slide and so much more. Then, from 12 to 4:30pm, it’s Food Truck Wars!
