This national park is one of my family’s favorites. Yellowstone National Park is the geothermal epicenter of North America, and you’ll find countless wonders to explore – like Old Faithful, the Grand Prismatic Spring (the largest hot spring in the US and third largest in the world!), and the “paint pots.”
Make sure to take your camera – the wildlife is abundant. Moose, wolves, and grizzly bears are some of the wildlife you’ll hopefully be able to spot (from a safe distance, of course).
Great Smoky Mountains/Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge
Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge offer travelers the best of all worlds: beautiful mountain landscapes and connection with the great outdoors (hiking, horseback riding, and mountain streams – yes, please!) as well as an urban hotspot for tourists!
Get your fill of fresh air and outdoorsy experiences in the Smokies during the day, then head into Pigeon Forge for an evening of live music, museums, dinner theatre, and more.
Disney World
No trip advisory would be complete without recommending the most iconic of vacation destinations – Disney!
