We all love to get away to the beautiful Oregon Coast in the summertime, but those of us “in the know” love to head there during the off seasons of fall and winter. The crowds are much smaller if you want to get out and hit all those great little tourist shops (saltwater taffy is always a must), and if you’re lucky, you may just get to enjoy a great storm while staying cozy inside your RV or hotel room. There’s something so comforting about being tucked safely away while the rain pounds and the winds whistle outside. It’s a great time to read a book or work a jigsaw puzzle while sipping your favorite hot beverage. While there are many excellent RV parks to choose from up and down the coastline, one we really love is the Mill RV Park in beautiful North Bend. As a part of the Mill Casino, there will be no shortage of fun to be had. The RV Park boasts 102 level sites, including 65 slanted 68-foot pull-throughs, with full hookups and cable TV. It’s the perfect way to enjoy The Mill Casino and all that Coos Bay and North Bend have to offer. With full showers, wifi, on-site laundry, outdoor hot tubs and an indoor pool, they have everything you need to entertain everyone in your group. Even if gambling isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other events and entertainment at the casino, such as comedy every Wednesday, ladies night every Thursday and a HUGE Halloween costume party.
